As an architect, Jorge Garza is inspired by buildings and their geometric forms. In particular, Garza is fascinated by the curvilinear shape of domes such as the iconic one found on the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. Thick layers of acrylic paint are used within this bustling city scene to depict a heavy rainfall from the evening sky.
