This work takes us back to a time of freedom to draw and learning to color between the lines, the sections of a coloring book guiding us in our creative flow. The bright colors give a feeling of joy and the white border and splatter give the feeling that we have just erased a layer and found a treasure underneath.
Yahaloma Lotzof is a self-taught contemporary abstract artist based in San Diego, California. She has always loved art, but only started to paint full-time 6 years ago. She works primarily with acrylic paint and mixed media, and loves using bright colors in her abstract compositions. Yahaloma is artistically inspired by everything around her—from nature, to people, to food, and even a conversation.
