Ana Sofia Villegas

A 31 year old artist born and raised in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora in Mexico. Her first approach to art was at an early stage in her life attending art classes since she was 4 years old. She developed a taste for art and continue her studies throughout her childhood and adolescence. When the time came, she enrolled in a graphic designer bachelor's degree at Universidad de Monterrey in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, México graduating in 2016. In the meantime, she continued alongside her art studies attending to several art courses such as engraving, oil painting, ceramics and acrylic painting. After graduating she worked at GE Galeria (now Galeria Estereo) in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. There she worked on art curation and exhibits. In 2020 she moved back to Ciudad Obregón where she focused on pursuing her art career while working at her family’s business Arte + Arte, an art supply store.
