29 years Old, Mexican. Started painting at 6 years old. I began to create a series of paints at 12 years old with a box of Gouache paints I won at a School contest, since then I've been using different media such as Oil, acrylic and a little bit of watercolor, I started with Surrealism and expressing what my dreams looked like to share it with my closed ones. Right now I do portrait comissions and been practicing expression and light within faces and objects, with my now favorite technique, which is oil on canvas. I also won another contest recently for 'Pata de Elefante' a Restaurant in Guadalajara out of an original Idea, which I was well received by open public who voted including family and friends.

Inspiration usually comes from simple moments that may seem ordinary or unnoticed, but that bring me the most joy and peace such as seeing my kid taking a nap, walking in Polanco streets in Mexico City, etc. I'm currently exploring how light changes hues for every frame in the painting. When I create art, my goal is to inspire other people to be observant to their surroundings and how to appreciate the small things.

I have had the opportunity to find inspiration in the most common places, by just going out and being spontaneous. Guadalajara is an amazing colorful city fill with a lot of uniqueness, style, nature and open skies which has allow my creativity to grow.

This painting is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of parental love, capturing the essence of infinite love. It portrays the serene innocence of my daughter peacefully asleep, but also my journey through motherhood. The scene unfolds with brushstrokes that blend colors to create a blurred background, allowing the focus to rest solely on the peaceful innocence radiating from her sleeping form. It envelops the viewer in a dreamlike atmosphere, transporting them to a realm where time stands still and the ordinary transcends. It is an opportunity to witness the beauty of life unfolding, one peaceful breath at a time.
