Art Scene West presents the Seaport Village Artwalk! Bring some of your choicest pieces to be showcased in the beautiful Lighthouse District courtyard of Seaport Village. Invite your friends, family, and fan-base for an enjoyable afternoon in a pleasant downtown San Diego setting, accompanied by live music and attractive establishments such as San Pasqual Winery and Mike Hess Brewing company. This monthly event is sure to bring fun and excitement to the beautiful Marina District in Downtown San Diego.  

Timeline:

Recurring, every 2nd Saturday of the month (subject to cancellations due to weather or other unforeseeable circumstances.)

Setup: 10:00am. 

Cleanup: 4:00pm

Requirements:

Artists must be residents of San Diego County. They must be professional in customer relations and the presentation of their artwork. Artists will be designated a space (6ft x 4ft) from which they can showcase their art. There are no tents allowed. Artists may bring small umbrellas and 2-3 easels to display larger works on, and a small table (no larger than 6ft) to showcase prints and other merchandise.

To be considered, you’ll be required to send a photographic example of a past or current art-presentation. 

Applications will be considered on a recurring monthly basis. Submitting artists are not guaranteed a spot in an upcoming Art Walk. Artists are accepted once a spot becomes available, and will continue to have priority for future Art Walks and opportunities with the gallery.

art sales PAYMENT PROCESS:

Art Scene West must process the payments of all artworks on the artists behalf from inside the gallery. Artists are therefore required to create detailed price tags for each of their products. They will give their customer the price tag of the work being sold. The customer will bring the price tag into the gallery and make the payment to Art Scene West. We will process the payment and sign off on the price tag for it to be returned to the artist in exchange for the item the customer purchased. At the end of the day, Art Scene West will remit the payment of 70% of total artist sales back to the artist, via Zelle or another previously agreed upon method. 

*Artists are not permitted to make sales on the Seaport Village premises, and any violation of this rule will result in immediate and permanent termination of future opportunities with Art Scene West.
