Zoe Blackman, a 25-year-old artist from New Jersey, embarks on a passionate journey shaped by a lifelong struggle of perpetual trauma. Despite immense challenges, Zoe perseveres by dedicating energy to her creative endeavors. She has studied at Pratt Institute, earning the Sculpture Award of her class. Seeking to broaden her artistic scope, she ventured into furniture design at RISD. However, faced with financial challenges and the overwhelming burden of her mental health struggles, she redirected her focus to her enduring love for oil painting—a medium that has been a source of solace since her childhood. Zoe's talent shines on virtual platforms like HMVC Gallery, giving exposure in NYC. In addition, exhibited at the Allegany Arts Council in Maryland, earning the second-place juried award for her poignant portrayal of grief. Her pieces serve as a visual narrative, delving into the depths of grief, loss, and heartache. The focus is to create a shared contemplation on the universal themes of love, the eternal echoes of memory, and the duality of loss and hope.
