Artist Statement:

I am a 38 year old French woman, with Ukrainian origins. I stopped creating for 10 years after a severe drop in self-esteem. Doubt had ravaged me, until I detected the same lack of self-confidence in my little brother. That gave me the trigger - I wanted to be an example for him, to clear the ground for him in some way. I regained my self-confidence. Help him save me in some way. I am a French painter, living in Normandy. I started painting on a daily basis to better survive on earth. it has become a necessity. My inspirations come from my travels, my readings, art and everything that surrounds me - the common thread is the melancholy of the human being: of human incarnation on earth and the search for the meaning of our lives, and the questioning of what happens after our death.
