Personal Statement: Photography, for me, is an exploration of perspective and emotion. Starting in a high school darkroom, I discovered the magic of transforming raw imagery into art. Over the years, I’ve blended traditional techniques with innovative methods, infusing each piece with a unique sense of depth and intrigue.
My art evolves around creating more than just photographs; I aim to craft experiences. By experimenting with unconventional materials like textured glass, metallic paper, and metal, I strive to push the boundaries of how we view photography. Enhancing prints with acrylic paints or incorporating 3D effects allows each piece to resonate as a tactile, multi-dimensional story.
Themes of impermanence, memory, and beauty influence my work. One of my most cherished collections, inspired by cemeteries, reflects this philosophy, inviting viewers to see serenity and artistry in overlooked spaces. It’s deeply fulfilling to witness these pieces connect with people, finding homes in galleries, museums, and private collections.
Through Zenlifeart, I’ve cultivated a style that’s rooted in innovation while remaining timeless. Whether a photograph evokes stillness or sparks curiosity, my goal is always to move the viewer emotionally. As I continue to grow, I’m committed to creating art that transcends the ordinary and invites contemplation, one frame at a time.
